Open Sundaes

Open Sundaes, which launched on Valentines Day in 2005, is a delicious collection of sweet-inspired skin, bath and body products. Decadent scents such as Bon Bon, Buttercream, Angel Food Cake, Peach Bellini, Chocolate Covered Cherry, Roasted Marshmallow and Rhubarb Pie delight the skin as well as the senses.

Products include Cupcakes for Bubble Baths, Soak & Melt Cakes for body conditioning in the bath, Bath Bombs,
Bon Bon Melts, Butter Bath Frappes and Body Butters. The Bakery Bath Treats collection offers yummy bath and body treats with scents that are updated seasonally.

Started by former model, Mashiah Vaughn, Open Sundaes products are beautifully wrapped in unique, dazzling and sophisticated gift boxes. As well, Open Sundaes has a personalized gift concierge service and will hand deliver gifts (Canada only). It’s not surprising the store now has two flagship locations and several retailers scatted throughout Canada. Bathing bliss can also be found at the Sutton Place Hotel, which presents Open Sundaes products as an added feature to its 30 premium floor rooms. If you are bath and body junkie and find yourself in the Vancouver area, you now know where to rest your weary head.

Critics Choice:
Cupcake Bubble Bath, $8.10 ca. Each of the nine cupcakes looks incredibly realistic- complete with a colorful whipped topping -some have sprinkles too. When dropped in the tub, the solid bubble bath produces huge and long lasting bubbles. They are big enough to break in half, even if you have a large soaking tub. We love Mint Condition, a refreshing blend of peppermint and spearmint. It was wonderfully exhilarating and cooling on a hot summer night.

Critics Choice:
Soak n Melt Bath Dessert, $7.20 ca. No bubbles here, but these super cute designs and spectacular scents provide a luxurious bathing experience enhanced with rich cocoa butter leaving your skin soft and sweet. We tried the Nanimo; so realistic the blend of sugar, coconut, cocoa and chopped almonds, we had to resist the urge to lick our arm all night.

Look for upcoming reviews of the Bon Bon Melts, Triple Chocolate Dessert Candle and Sugar Shimmer Body Glow in Vanilla Coconut.
