Not Soap Radio

A few years ago I stumbled upon Not Soap Radio, a line that started out with wonderfully creative, brightly colored bubble baths designed to conquer a specific issue. At the time, owners Laura Cabot and Suzanne Cabot were creating products from a tiny studio in New York City, but originally hailed from the same small town where I grew up. I promptly ordered a few bottles and loved each and every one. Today you will find the sisters at work in their studio/boutique in West Hollywood, CA. The line has grown to include a full array of lip glosses, moisturizing creams and exfoliators and you guessed it- lots of new bubble varieties.

The Bath and Shower Bubbles still remain my favorite with the Read My Lips glosses coming in at a close second. If the packaging doesn’t make you smile in anticipation, the concept will. Each bubble bath addresses a specific problem (stress, relationships, dieting) of everyday life, in an amusing, laugh-through-it way that can actually help boost the psyche, empower, relax, or revive. And it will all come from you. You control your beauty, your mind, your destiny. It’s not magic; it just works.
